With temperatures dipping down into the teens and a wind gust of 30+ MPH, I had no intentions of heading trackside for the night, but with word that two brand new SD50-3 rebuilds would be making their first run on Q302, I ventured trackside. These new units (previously SD50's & SD50-2's) received a new coat of paint, new AC's, cab upgrades, an electric bell (by the looks of it, no confirmation), and a handful of other upgrades. In a more simple way, these units are pretty much a standard cab version of a GEVO.
