The northbound MRF out of Proctor, MN delivers some new power sets to the Iron Range for taconite service. In the mix is CN 6020 leading followed by EJ&E 674, IC 62**, IC 6254, IC 6259, DM&IR 215, IC, 6264, and IC 6251. Of intrest to Missabe fans is the DM&IR 215 which was repaired in Proctor following a mechanical failure while working dock service in Two Harbors and is now going back into service over there.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
