It was quite a chaotic afternoon in the small, remote town of Meadow Creek, as MOW waited for a pair of light engines to depart Meadow Creek Yard. Just out of the frame to the right, a westbound empty coal train waited for the light engines to get in the clear. A few moments later, the westbound would wait for MOW to clear before proceeding west and picking up one of the locomotives in the above picture. A process that seems fairly simply to accomplish, was the exact opposite, as almost every track in the Meadow Creek Yard was occupied and MOW had the main line tied up.
This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
