On New Year's Eve 2009, a hot Union Pacific stack train charges west across a Weber River truss bridge at Devil's Slide, Utah. The tail end of the train is passing the site of the 'thousand mile tree', a memorial to UP's construction of the transcontinental railroad in the 1860's.
