Remarks & Notes
The new Goldsborough Creek span was dropped in place today and Simpson MOW old-timer Jerry is resetting rail in preparation for trains that will roll again next week. The old bridge was destroyed in the flooding of January, 2009 and there had been some doubt whether Simpson RR would ever operate outside of downtown again.
