| LS&I picked up a few extra U30C's from Detroit Edison as parts units. But that winter with WC and UP both experiencing power shortages in Upper Michigan the DE boats were quickly re lettered and leased out for a few extra dollars before being parted out. Here 3015 is back at Eagle Mills with stack covered waiting for eventual scrapping. |
