MOW crew prepare the rebuilt Simpson Railroad railbed at the approach to the new Goldsbough Creek Bridge. The railroad is near to normal operations again after a 14 month hiatus.
Based in Shelton, Washington, this private operation has hauled logs and lumber for its parent timber company Simpson Lumber (Timber) since 1890. Here you will be able to easily research all of my STC images on this site.
A tribute of appreciation to the workers who maintain the track, keeping our railways in shape regardless of weather and danger, and keeping them running effeciently.
