| Prairie Skyscrapers. Massachusetts certainly isn't a prairie state, but Ayer is nonetheless home to a prairie skyscraper operated by Horizon Milling, complete with its own NW2. This July 1948-built example left EMD as NYO&W #130, then went to NYC and eventually Conrail before winding up here. Lately Horizon has been using Guilford GP9 #77 as well. |
