| Grand Elk railroad is called to the rescue as AMTK 353 is stranded between Battle Creek & Kalamazoo with electrical problems blocking the single track main line. WAMX 3806 is brought from Botsford Yard under track authority from Dearborn Dispatch as AMTRAK train 353 to link up with stranded train and tow it to Kalamazoo where power form 352 is swapped over. Here a Grand Elk worker begins preparations to couple the NPCU to the GP 38. |
