| CNW 6707,6725,6706 are headed west with empties as they blast over a hill at Rock. Up and down running and the weak elderly ore cars made train handling quite an adventure. Most of the time the right of way was littered with broken knuckles and draw bars. Welded rail and better track structure helped some as the C&NW moved into the 80's but the brute force of a set of C628 and the old cars always kept engineers on their toes. |
