Remarks & Notes
The Visitor – BNSF #9311 leads a short stack train down the Cajon Pass through C.P. Walker. #9311 is an EMD SD70ACe and is not one of the common engines assigned to the Barstow to Los Angeles power pool which generally consists of GE Dash-9's and ES44DC's. Seems these engines are generally found on BNSF's Powder River Division hauling coal drags or back in the Midwest. BNSF SD70ACe's are relatively rare in Southern California, and finding one on the point in some good light was quite a treat.
