Winding its way through multiple S-curves, the 63rd load from Black Thunder Mine to Alabama Power’s James H. Miller, Jr. Electric Generating Plant at Palos, Al, drops down White Tail Hill at the north end of the Orin Subdivision. The train is powered by four SD70MACs, 9694 and 9530 on the point and 9955 and 8957 as the rear DPU.
