Remarks & Notes

Shortly before the weather turned to clouds and showers, a coal load from Rawhide Mine to Kansas City grinds uphill behind SD70MACs 9799 and 9564. Shoving on the rear are the DPU, ES44AC 5778, and a helper set with SD60M 9225, SD75M 8205, and SD70MAC 8854. At Kansas City, the train will be interchanged to UP for the rest of the journey to the Grand River Dam Authority’s Coal Fired Complex at Chouteau, Oklahoma.
