| Western Maryland GP35 3577 (Class DS-28) represents an order for five of the second-generation geeps which were delivered in December 1963. They arrived in the then-current black paint scheme and carried the numbers 501-505. In 1967, they were renumbered to 3576-3580 to fit in with the number series of B&O GP35s. All received the red/white/black paint scheme in 1970-71 when they underwent their seven-year major shop work. Please see photo 308165 for more information about the day this photo was taken. |
