| 60163 Tornado makes climbing the northern ascent of the Settle & Carlisle look almost effortless as she lifts the Cumbrian Coast Tornado railtour past Birkett Common just south of Kirkby Stephen. There is still some snow on the high fells, evidence of the severe winter just past. Unusually, the wind was from the NE which means the exhaust has obscured the train. Perhaps this is just as well with the eclectic mix of liveries displayed on the stock |
