| The 261 is in route to be turned. Unfortunately, the tight curves by B-12 tower were too sharp and the 261 ended up tilting the rails over. A quick reacting engineer stopped the engine on a dime as soon as he heard the pop. They were able to back it out without any further mishaps. The tracks that are being crossed belonged to the Milwaukee Road which at this time belong to the Soo Line. The line the 261 is one was originally Soo but at the time belonged to the Wisconsin Central. The track has since been rebuilt by the CN and that sharp curve has been eliminated. |
