Remarks & Notes 
D&RGW GP30s 3008 and 3013 drag empty limestone gons towards the Highway 50 crossing just below the quarry at Monarch. Until it was standard gauged in 1956, this now-abandoned branch sported K-36 2-8-2s. One feature of the narrow gauge that still remained was the switchback at Garfield.
