On June 12th, 2008, floods hit Iowa hard. Here, a maintenance "train" descends into the bottoms of Burlington, Iowa, where the Mississippi River still sits over much of the Burlington riverside yard. Shortly, the muck on the submerged tracks will prove too much for the traction of the "locomotive's" tires. More 2008 Flood photos from Burlington, IA.
