| In the early 1970s 20 of these little GE locomotives took over from the Class NGG16 Garratt steam locomotives, and worked alongside the NG15 Steam locomotives until the late 1980s. Here, NG15 No NG119, operated by the Apple Express Society passes 91-008 that had just brought in a rake of empty timber waggons from Port Elizabeth. The guage of the line is 2 ft. |
