Remarks & Notes
Some railway locations in South Africa have powerfully descriptive names. The Oudtshoorn - Klipplaat line has its share: 'Oven', 'Solitree', and 'Eensaam', the last name meaning 'Lonely' in Afrikaans. Stuck in between two mountain ranges dividing the Little and Great Karoo, there surely is no better name to describe this place. The CT-PE Premiere Class pounds through, not even slowing.
