Remarks & Notes
The old train servicing area is a quiet Sunday morning place as trains lay over for the weekend. The only things moving in this part of Franklyn are the bikers. The RDCs in the background appear to be former VIA units. The GP9 and coach are New Haven stock.

The 70's and 80's were a transition period for the MBTA characterized by an eclectic mix of equipment including Budd RDC's, ex-New Haven stainless steel coaches, and a mix of motive power acquired from various railroads.
