| Golden West Service Started back in the 1990s, this sale / lease back program consisting of cars from Southern Pacific, Cotton Belt and Rio Grande helped to bring some revenue in the Southern Pacific at the time. Golden West would end up being the largest sale / lease back program with 10,474 cars rebuilt and painted in this vibrant blue color using this stacked block logo. With their leases expiring all cars are being re-stenciled to their original owners reporting marks and numbers. |
