Remarks & Notes
The four-cylinder compound express steam engine A 3/5 705 (4-6-0, built 1904 by SLM), with her fast train with coaches from the 1930s, takes "light footed" the 1.1 % grade from Oberwinterthur towards Rickenbach, on the way to Lake Constance. The young but very experienced steam engine driver Stefan (he grew up in the steam railway Katzensee of his grandfather and father, with 7 1/4 and 9 1/2 inch steamlocomotives ) enjoys the passing scenery from the cab.
