| The ARR Alaska State Fair Train is in the depot area awaiting its 1pm departure to Palmer while the Seward-bound loaded coal train's three DP SD70s roll southbound in the background. The ARR P32 cab car is former Amtrak F40PH #268. This image depicts the daily interaction between passenger and freight trains on the Alaska RR which has been improved in recent years with the upgrades to the passenger loading areas at the depot. |
