The Conway Scenic Railroad's beefy CN Switcher drifts across Moat Brook Trestle enroute to Conway Station with the last Valley Train of the day. During normal operations, the railroad likes to have the steamer facing uphill and on this line, that's railroad west. On the first day of the 2010 Railfan Weekend however, the railroad's Operations Manager, Paul Hallett made the call that CN 7470 would face east all day, presenting some photography opportunities that don't exist very often. Here at Moat Brook, with the line running almost perfectly north-south, there's virtually never any nose-light on the locomotive. Not today! Many thanks are due to Paul and the rest of the Conway Scenic Crew for putting on yet another great show this year.
