Remarks & Notes

The C&NW 40th Street engine terminal had two huge coaling towers. In early 1956, C&NW M-3 0-6-0 2610 took coal at one of the towers. This picture was taken a month or so before May 22, 1956, the last day of steam in regular service on C&NW.
