| After helping SP #4449 from Klamath Falls to Gerber the big SD was turned (it had been running long hood forward) and headed down the SP's West Valley line for the trip home to the Bay Area. The 4449 was pulling a passenger train and headed to Sacramento and Railfair '81 to mark the opening of the California State Railroad Museum. |
