| The Pacific Railroad Society's "Kelso Flyer" special fan trip excursion departs Barstow for an afternoon out in the desert. Battery problems sidelined the original lead Dash 8 locomotive, leaving the second unit on its own to power the train long-hood forward all the way to Kelso. |
