UTAH 5004 exits Spanish Fork Canyon in early morning light, just east of Castilla, and west of the old town of Thistle, which was destroyed in the mud slide in 1983 and forced a reroute of the railroad the ex DRGW Soldier Summit mainline. The train is bound for the coal mine at Savage, UT, and will return to Provo , later in the day.
