| Once SMS started the NS contract, trains got longer and heavier making MU'd operation necessary at times as the new Geep for the Branch was still in Jersey. Now the Geep is the main motive power for this train and the switchers are now relegated to the park unless an emergency necessitates there use on the branch. |
