Remarks & Notes
Southern Railway Extra 2716 East (one of 90 Kanawha type 2-8-4's built for C&O) has pulled high of the switch to the east leg of the wye. The Opelika Switch Engine is busy turning 2716's train on the wye as Southern Railway's steam program personnel service the locomotive after its 100 mile run down the "P" line.
