| Sometimes things just work out. I drove to Flagstaff to take care of some business on a Thursday. A friend of mine took the Chief from LA to Winslow where I picked him up on Friday morning. Our goal for that day was the Apache Railway. We caught the train and chased all day Friday and upon return to the shops we learned that the railroad was calling an extra for Saturday. The Apache made a Saturday run with 24 cars to the BNSF Holbrook interchange and came back with this coal train. A nice day indeed. |
