| Recently, this crew has been making steady afternoon pickups and returning east just before the sun begins to drop like a stone. Sometimes they park it at "Ferry Street" and sometimes they keep on going. Today they were lined for the eastward main and kept grinding away off the grade for Schaghticoke. The lead former Trona looked like an old diesel diva in the severe low angle sun as it passes by CPF464 with a healthy cut of Quebec Cement hoppers on the head end pin. |
