| B&O 1445 pulls the westbound "Diplomat" past the then-operating Quaker Oats plant just prior to stopping at B&O's Akron Union Station on a fine morning in the late 1960's. Soon the passenger train would be a memory and the Quaker Oats plant shut down and its silos surprisingly turned into a hotel. |
