Another "gem" out of Switzerlands treasure of operational steamlocomotives is this little rack and pinion Eh 2/2, which was built in 1951 by Swiss Steamlocomotive and Machine Works (SLM) for "Maschinenfabrik Rüti AG vormals Caspar Honegger". When the work closed it was given to Eurovapor Sulgen in 1997 and is operated on the 6 kilometre long rack railway from Rorschach to Heiden (RHB, now belonging to Appenzellerbahnen AB).
