| On its first excursion weekend after restoration, the 611 leads her eastbound train upgrade a few miles out of Roanoke. (I would appreciate a more exact location from anyone familiar with the area--thanks!) This was to have been her third trip in three days, but the previous day's return trip from Norfolk had to use diesels when the wye in Norfolk proved too tight to turn her, and she needed to be towed back home in reverse. |
