| On the 20th of April,1968,the Manchester Railway Society and the (then fledgling) Severn Valley Railway ran a railtour named "The North West Tour". From Stockport to Stalybridge the train was headed by a pair of "Black 5" locomotives,45110 and 44949. The tour is seen here during a photographic stop at Chinley station. |
