Two Geeps leading a regular manifest is not something I see around here very often. The H41 has finished their regular work for the day in Brooten and have been dispatched to Murray to dogcatch train 291 and try to get it to Glenwood. After going through the fairly long (and cold) process of setting up the new locomotive consist, performing an air test, releasing some handbrakes, and re-arming the marker, they would still have to wait on one, maybe two eastbounds before they could continue. Their hopes of reaching Glenwood with their train were finally dashed when the first eastbound tripped the detector at MP 115.5, 19 miles to the west. A cab was called and train 291 still sat at Murray. Sometimes you just can't win.
