| Steamscape - Steptoe Valley. A Nevada Northern hopper train runs southbound through the snow-covered Steptoe Valley en route to Ely, just a couple of miles down the road. The Schell Creek Range, which forms the eastern boundary of the Steptoe Valley provides the back-drop for this scene. This mountain range is the longest north-south range in Nevada,stretching for some 132 miles. |
