Remarks & Notes
The aftermath of a brilliant idea. A 23 year old man tried some sort of stunt on a dirt bike involving jumping an embankment on to or over the BNSF main lines. Resulting in critical injuries and being helped off the tracks by his friends just before a train came along and hit his dirt bike. Both mains were shut down for about an hour and half, delaying four Sounder trains, while the tracks were inspected and an investigation completed. I'm still not clear if the Coal train shown, was the train that got the bike, or if the EVEROO (Garbage train) got it. The Sounder showed up well after the man was removed from the tracks. While all this was going on, a trio of people walking four dogs came from the other direction to see what all the excitement was about. And where did the walk? Right down the middle of the track the Sounder is on. Will people ever learn?
