CP AC4400CW 8604, CEFX AC4400CW 1052, Vancouver 2010 Olympic ES44AC 8860, and CEFX AC4400CW 1058 idle in the helper locomotive staging/setoff tracks at Geddis. Located 20 miles east of Kamloops, the 600 ft sidings were consturcted in 2006 as part of CP Rail’s Western Capacity Expansion Project and are used to stage the locomotives that will be added to trains for the Eastbound journey over the Columbia and Rocky Mountians.
