Remarks & Notes

Brand new GP18 units 1804 and 1800 are switching at Passaic Jct. in Saddle Brook, NJ. The three EMD units were the first new diesels bought by the railroad for many years. The Susquehanna had powered both freight and passenger trains with Alco RS-1 and S-2 units since early dieselization in the 1940s.
