| As a variety of birds feed in the shallow river bottom, a westbound ethanol train crosses the Pee Dee River alongside the massive Tillery Lake dam on the rarely photographed Piedmont Division of the ACWR. The Piedmont Division is part of the original Norfolk and Southern mainline. I can imagine this is a wild ride for the crew on occasions when the spillways are open when they pass. |
