Remarks & Notes |
From high above the Columbia River, Horsethief Lake and the huge cliffs on the Oregon side of the river dwarf this BN westbound lead by 2529 along with another GP35,GP30 and an RS11. I had ran out west of Wishram in hopes of getting a train I had been waiting on. That job was powered by a GP35,C425 and a pair of C636's. Instead first up was a westbound grain empty with a pair of SD45's. Then this job which had passed the train I was waiting for at Wishram. I never did get the train I was really after at this spot as it was getting late in the evening and clouds were moving in from the west. After this shot I beat a hasty retreat east and was able to shoot the westbound I was waiting for just as the sun was about to duck behind the clouds near Celio Bridge. |
