| Late afternoon local Conrail freight NH BX-29, later called WNRE 29, catches the last rays of sunlight on snow covered terrain. The former preacher at the Baptist church that you can see on the left was a railfan from Britain. He said he coordinated his preaching with the Amtrak schedule. It was timed so that a train would run by at the exact moment he was emphasizing a point in his sermon. He is retired now and attends services in another nearby church that is closer to the tracks. He feels right at home. |
