A pair of NS C40-9W's hang out on the lead track at the former D&H Mohawk Yard just outside of Schenectady on a cold February morning. Several years later there would be no need for a power change as the trackage rights deal with Guilford Rail System allowed NS trains to run all the way to the Atlantic coast.
