| On a humid, scorching, late August day that smelled oh so much of paper mill the 315 and 312 arrive at the west end of the Wisconsin Rapids terminal with 60 cars. The 315 was my favorite GB&W unit. Although it seemed to be a total pain in the a--, to the crews that rode in it and to me also by literally always trailing when I was in a position to shoot it in good sun. Remarkably if I was along the GB&W it would only show up leading after dark and on cloudy days. |
