'He leadeth me beside the still waters'… part II. The last time I was at this overlook at Mississippi Palisades State Park last October, I captured a beautiful scene ( http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=341655 )that inspired me to quote from the 23rd Psalm because of the calm and glassy river. Well, on this tranquil spring evening, the conditions were much the same except that the sky is much more interesting. It’s fascinating to note the differences between two photos taken at the same spot in the same direction at a similar time of day, although in different seasons. The really amazing thing, though, is that the picture from last fall was also of a taconite train, and in both pictures there were only two or three minutes of light left before the sun slipped below the horizon. I always feel grateful to the Good Shepherd for the opportunity to witness a scene such as this, and to be able to capture it with a camera to share with others.
