| Westbound coal train 596 streaks past the power for Midland local C10. SD40-2's 3430 and 3431 were built by EMD as SD40's for the KCS, numbers 613 and 620 respectively. With an original builder's date of October 1966, the 3430 is one of the oldest diesels on the NS active roster. |
