Remarks & Notes |
The Glowing Worm Passes Silverwood [2011 Solstice Study] – A Westbound pig (TOFC) train on Main #3 descends the grade as it passes the man made mesa at West Summit Island. West Summit Island is the fancy name for the flat spot where the silver car is parked in this picture: Link. The red dots are due to the flashing light on the End of the Train Device (EOT) also referred to as a FRED. The streaks of light above the tracks are the vehicles on Interstate 15. The top streak is the down side and the bottom is the up, or Eastbound side that heads to Las Vegas. |
